Privacy Policy - ReSeller Receipts

J & S Studio develops the ReSeller Receipts mobile app as a commercial utility. This policy governs how ReSeller Receipts processes data when running on your iOS mobile device.

1. Information Collection & Storage

ReSeller Receipts is built on an on-device-first architecture. We do not gather, save, track, or resell your personal details or receipts. All operations are processed locally:

Local SQLite Database: All parsed receipt logs (merchant details, receipt dates, category tags, dollar amounts) are stored inside the app's sandboxed environment via Apple's native SwiftData structure.
Privacy of Scan Images: Photos captured by the receipt scanner are saved locally inside your secure sandboxed document container or directly archived in your local Files app directory. We do not own or have access to these files.

2. iOS Device Permissions

To enable standard invoice cataloging, the app requests the following camera permission:

Camera Access: Camera access is strictly required to scan physical paper receipts. The image is parsed in real-time on-device using local optical character recognition (OCR) systems to suggest merchant and total prices, and is never captured or processed by outside servers.

3. Local Files App & iCloud Drive Storage

The app stores scanned PDF/image documents directly on your device. Scans are saved by default to the ReSeller Receipts folder inside your local Files app directory. Users can also select iCloud Drive in the Settings view to save documents to their private iCloud directory for cross-device synchronization. J & S Studio does not request, handle, or store any third-party cloud account credentials, logins, or access tokens.

4. Subscription Services & Purchases

Premium features are handled securely by Apple StoreKit interfaces. J & S Studio does not process or retain credit card details, physical addresses, or financial transactions.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may adjust our Privacy Policy periodically. We will update the 'Last Updated' date at the top of this page to indicate modifications.
